TN Visa: NAFTA Professionals from Canada and Mexico

The TN Visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows professionals from Canada and Mexico to work temporarily in the United States in certain specialty occupations. This visa is a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), now known as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

Requirements to apply:


To be eligible for the TN Visa, you must meet the following requirements:


1. Mexican or Canadian Citizenship: Be a citizen of Mexico or Canada.


2. Job Offer in the United States: Have a job offer from a US employer in one of the mentioned occupations.


3. Professional Qualifications: Possession of the required academic degree (usually a bachelor's degree or equivalent) for the specific profession.


4. Temporary Employment Intent: Demonstrate that your stay in the United States is temporary and exclusively to work in the authorized profession.


5. Supporting Documentation: Submit evidence of your professional credentials, such as degrees, certificates, and licenses.
