Immigration Attorney
We are looking for a bilingual professional (English/Spanish) to join our 100% remote team. You will represent clients before the EOIR and USCIS, managing cases hand in hand with our support team. Responsibilities:
Legal Management and Representation: Represent clients in virtual and in-person hearings before EOIR and USCIS. Analyze cases through interviews, narrative reviews, and technical evaluation of evidence.
Drafting and Strategic Litigation: Draft complex legal documents, including briefs for applications, appeals, and specific motions (reopening, continuance, and change of venue). Lead legal strategy in immigration proceedings, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards. You must demonstrate autonomy in decision-making and the ability to advise clients after each hearing on the best courses of action for their case.
Family Case Preparation: Prepare waiver applications, such as I-601A waivers and benefit applications. Process family-based immigration petitions and applications, including I-130 and I-360 petitions, as well as I-485 applications for adjustment of status.
Qualifications:
Professional Profile: Active license to practice law and EOIR registration (or candidates awaiting results). Fluent mastery of English and Spanish (essential for the position).
Experience and Skills: More than one year of experience in immigration law and handling family court orders. Ability to manage support teams, proactivity, and availability to travel. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and legal analysis skills, being able to work autonomously in a fully digital environment.
