He holds a J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law and is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and all federal immigration courts. Before joining DiasporaLaw, he spent four years in private practice in the Philadelphia area, where he represented the rights of injured clients against insurance companies and state and local governments.

Karina Bugarini is admitted as an attorney in both the State of New York and Mexico. Based on her experience as an associate at Greenberg Traurig, where she contributed to a team of lawyers primarily handling EB5 visas and Mandamus claims, her current practice focuses on business immigration. She possesses extensive experience in handling asylum cases, working for clients mostly from Central and South America while working for two law firms in Florida. For seven years, she served her country, Mexico, at the Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso, Texas, advocating for the Mexican immigrant community in several areas. As a lawyer in Mexico, she began her career as a criminal defense attorney, and recently, in Mexico City, during her tenure at the Institute of National Property Administration and Assessment of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, she served as a coordinator on the Inter-secretarial Commission for Integral Immigration Affairs.
